SUMMARY :
FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully embark on a thrilling investigation into the eerie happenings in the seemingly ordinary town of Hawkins, Indiana.

ADDITIONAL NOTES :
━ For plot reasons, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, both respectively born in 1961 and 1964, have been born much earlier so that they won't be as young when they first appear in Hawkins, Indiana to investigate the Upside Down. Fox's birthdate has been changed to 10/13/1949 and Dana's birthdate has been changed to 02/23/1954.

━ If it wasn't already obvious, Fox Mulder and Joyce Byers are paired together for this story. The other pairing is Hannah Mulder and Steve Harrington.

━ Mulder and Joyce are a slow burn. Meanwhile, Hannah and Steve are the opposite as a fast burn.

━ As mentioned in the summary, following the events of season one, Scully and Mulder are sent to investigate Hawkins, Indiana and get to the bottom of things.

━ Scully and Mulder don't reveal themselves as FBI special agents to anyone except Hopper because he's the sheriff and they hope that he will cooperate with them during their investigation (mind you, Hopper will not be very willing to cooperate at first), although Murray Bowman will eventually figure it out because, well, he's Murray.

━ Although it seems that the gate has been closed at the end of season two, Scully and Mulder remain in Hawkins. Not just because the FBI believes things aren't over yet, but because they must stay to gather all the information they can about the Upside Down, the children (not just Eleven), etc. and obviously it will take a while to aquire all of that. However, their research on the other children will require some travelling outside of Hawkins.

━ Just before the start of season three, Mulder's niece (Hannah Mulder) comes to live with him in Hawkins because her parents have passed away and he's now her legal guardian. Considering Hawkins has become his permanent residence during the investigation, Hannah will need to live with him there as well.

━ Hannah and Steve meet at the mall when she gets a summer job working at Scoop's Ahoy.

━ Scully and Mulder are apart of the Hopper/Joyce plotline in season three. Hannah will obviously be with the Scoop's Troop.

━ Hopper doesn't end up in Russia at the end of season three/in season four, nor does Joyce move to California considering her love interest is not Hopper, but Mulder. I will discuss these AU plans privately with the author to avoid spoilers for potential readers.

━ Hannah is a theorist, like her uncle. So that'll be fun, especially since poor Scully (a realist) will have to deal with TWO theorists, not just one. But mind you, she adores Hannah very much. She's met her a few times before Hawkins, but now that Hannah lives with Mulder permanently, the two of them develop a surrogate aunt-niece relationship that is really cute.
